Lucid dreaming
Lucid dreaming, you know what that is ? Its the term that describes you being in a dream but aware that its a dream. Im gonna teach you few hints that will improve your chanses of getting a lucid dream.
Wikipedia says :
A dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes it is a dream, while a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state,
Ive acctually experianced two of these cases. One where i was normaly dreaming then realised that i was in a dream. I was kinda able to do stuff i wanted in the dream. The other way, where you fall right into one went like this. I was watching a morning radio program on tv, and fell asleep. Maybe a few secconds after falling alseep i sat on a train with a friend singing to the song ''Alicia keys - Try sleeping with a broken heart''
I didnt eaven know the lyrics but since the song was on the tv i suddenly could sing along with it in my dream.
I will tell you my opinion how you can fall into a lucid dream.
1. Sleep on your back.
I personaly sleep on my stomach, but try to switch sides so i can get a lucid dream.
Also sleeping on your back increases chanses of getting normal dreams.
2. Try falling asleep on your back with your hands flat down.
As a standing position but on your bed.
3. Fall alseep with your tv on close to you.
My tv is right next to my head when i fall alseep since its an old tv and i got no removte for it.
Sounds from the tv will make you imagine things like conversations in your dream.
4. Each some chocolate before trying this if you want to have a higher chanse for sex dreams.
These are my adviced that i found out have worked for me. Theres also few more ways that I have yet not tried. Such as i''n dream reality check'' pinching yourself in the dream to se if its real, force yourself to do that in your dreams.
Im not saying if you do this you will have a lucid dream every night. But everytime i fall alseep on my back with my tv on in the background i usally dream.
Also this is important. If you are naturally active while sleeping be aware that you can fall into something called ''sleep paralysis''. Sleep paralysis causes your brain to wake up before your body. Meaning you will be awake but paralysed. Its also possible that you will dream while awake meaning stuff will apear in your room if you happened to wake up with your eyes open.
The dreams that will appear are mostly nightmares, since you will be shocked and afraid of the situation that you are paralysed you will probablly experience a nightmare.
The woman in this video is awake, but body paralysed. She cant talk because her tounge is also paralysed.
Durning holidays i stayed at my friends house and my friend fell into sleepparalysis for the first time. He blamed it on ghosts, since apparently their house is haunted.
Holy shit, that sleep paralysis thing is terrifying. It's right out of a horror movie.

ReplyDeleteI have a disorder that causes me to have sleep paralysis. It is really horrible if the dream that I was having was a nightmare, because when I wake up not able to move, I always think that I am stuck in a dream and nothing is still real
It's not a disorder it can happen to ANYONE.
